My response may be a little late in that you may have already purchased the greenhouse. Personal Opinion: I love using the greenhouse venue and if you have a use for all of the objects and premium content, then I'd say go for it. The Expansion Pack Team is still looking into coding for future EP's/Patches for planting indoors and dealing with the unfinished room moodlet and everything. You can only plant inside using the planters, as it comes with the venue, but if you want to be creative and use the ground, you will have to remove a piece of wall in the room, plant on the ground, and then close off the wall. (Only if they were planted before the Dormant Season). The Greenhouse Roof Pieces help "hide" the floor tiles (which you need in order to block off snow) and also prevent any rooms created under those pieces to have plants "NOT" stay dormant. I use it all the time when I have to garden.
The Gardening station is pretty awesome to have if you are an avid gardener. If you have no problems with Branded Content, the PvZ Sunflower is from PvZ (Plants vs Zombies) and it's "okay" to me It doesn't create any special greenhouse gameplay, but is solely based on the two premium content introduced. The Venue itself is purely decorative, roofing and everything. I've heard you can't plant directly on the ground and you have to use pots if you want to plant indoors unless you remove a part of the wall (but that will affect sims moodet).Īt this point I was wondering if it is worth to buy it.
I was looking for something which prevents my plants to go dormants during winter so that I can garden in every season. I was going to buy the Stone Throw Greenhouse but I read many simmers were disappointed as it has many problems which weren't fixed.
